Creative Inkers Christmas Blog Hop 2014

Hi Everyone!
Thank goodness for team blog hops otherwise I might not blog at all!  I've been rather busy lately, but decided that taking part in the second Creative Inkers Blog Hop would be a good idea so that you know I'm still alive, haha!

My project to share with you for this blog hop is a brand new Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit that is being released by Stampin' Up! tomorrow!  As a Demonstrator I get to order some things early, and this is one of the fabulous items in a brand new Christmas Supplement which is due to go fully live for ordering tomorrow, finally!

This kit contains the supplies to make twenty-six 3D stars (they are not boxes as you can't open them without damaging them).  So far I've only made up 10 of the stars from the kit, but this picture will show you the range of sizes.  They're easy to put together - once you've worked out how to do the first one, the rest go together pretty quick.  Stampin' Up! even included adhesive on the tabs so you only need to use extra adhesive sticking on some of the embellishments, which I was delighted to discover, as that makes construction easy!  The photo doesn't do it justice - take it from me, they are GORGEOUS!  Some of them (like the small star in the top right hand corner) are completely made of glitter card and then embellished.  So pretty!  The kit includes all the embellishments - wooden snowflakes, paper bows, sequins, tags or banners, die cut words and gold baker's twine.  If you want bling on your wall or your tree this Christmas, this is the kit for you! When I have them all made up they will look amazing on my wall at home.

If you like the look of these, you'll want to order your own kit quick smart - the products in the supplement are only available while stocks last, so don't wait too long!

This display of some of the stars was hanging on our wall at the Great New Zealand Craft Show this weekend, and was much admired by many of the visitors to our stand!  (Please excuse the tinsel dangling down the side, that's not part of the kit, we had to get some to coordinate the rest of the stand with this fabulous display!).  You really don't get a sense of how big that biggest star is from this photo, so let me share a photo of our stand where you can see the display hanging up above our demonstration table.  The big star was from cardstock that measures 15 inches square, which might also give you some idea of how big it ends up.  Pretty cool, huh?

Here's a photo of the other side of our stand, where you might be able to see that Ann, Sally and myself have been very busy little crafters, making up fabulous small gifts for people to purchase as Christmas presents and stocking stuffers.  Yes, it's that time of year!

Hope you've enjoyed my little preview of my favourite new product from the Supplement.  If you're following the blog hop you'll have arrived here from Delys' fabulous blog.  Please click on the next button below to check out Lisa's amazing 3D houses! You can click on the buttons on each blog to go through the blog hop to see everyone's creations in turn, but I'm also listing all of our fabulous team members so you can make sure to visit them all.  Please do leave a comment if you have a moment, we love to hear what you think of our creative efforts.

Oh Rachel - I haven't even opened mine yet - but after seeing your stars it may be another job on my Monday to-do list! Really good to see them in-situ on you stand too.

I had a couple of customers at the craft show they said your stand looked Fab. And I can see now why. They are a lot of work and it is nice there are so many yummy things in the Christmas range. I love the stars set - I know if I buy it I wont have time to make it so will just admire from afar.
